Tour To the Center of Sistan and Baluchestan
Sometimes the most precious secrets are hidden out of the way and only need a bit of your originality to be discovered. On this 2-day adventure in the little-known southeast of Iran, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, you’ll start from Zahedan and go to Khash and Saravan to explore the history, culture and nature of the region. Of the best parts of the adventure will be exploring the unique culture found in the central part of the province, meeting the nice Baloch people, and finding their gorgeous handicrafts.

Day 1: Zahedan-Khash-Saravan
We’ll meet in Zahedan and start our Sistan exploration with a visit to Zahedan Museum. Following that, we’ll have a road trip toward Khash (about 182 km). On our way there, we’ll stop on the foot of Taftan mountain and enjoy some time in the nature of its Darreh Gol. Then we’ll make our way toward Khash. In the afternoon, check out the special architecture of the early 20th century Heydar Abad Castle.
Overnight: Ecolodge in SaravanDay 2: Saravan-Kalporgan-Zahedan
First thing in the morning, we’ll hit the road toward Kalporagan Village (about 185 km). On our way there, we’ll let the local lifestyle charm us at Tas-o Kapal Local Museum. Then, in Kalporagan Clay Living Museum, we’ll find Baloch people create clayware the traditional way. We’ll finally end our adventure with a delicious lunch and a road trip back to Zahedan (about 340 km).
