Cooking Class with Zoroastrians

Zoroastrians, their culture, and the relics of their ancient religion are what make Yazd so charming! A culinary tour beside a sweet Zoroastrian family in a lovely private garden will be a good chance to go to the depth of it. Our Zoroastrian day begins with a short trip to Taft (22 km), a village of adorable orchards and ancient architecture. We’ll make ourselves comfortable in a beautiful private garden where we’ll pick fruit, cook and relax. Then, we’ll start cooking Persian dishes (including Zoroastrian delicacies) while learning about Zoroastrian faith and culture. We’ll then set the table and gather for a tasty Zoroastrian feast and a friendly chat. Finally, after enjoying a walking or a cycling adventure around Taft’s gorgeous garden alleys, we’ll hit the road back to Yazd.
