We’ll meet up in Tabriz in the morning and have a road trip toward a rare place: Kandovan village (around 57 km). After getting hypnotized by the fantasy cliff houses and the rural culture of Kandovan, move on to enjoy lunch in Bonab (around 119 km), a city well-known for its kebab. Then get a ride to Maragheh (around 21 km). Discover the architectural beauties of Maragheh’s historical tomb towers: Gonbad-e Sorkh (the Red Dome), Gonbad-e Kabood (the Blue Dome), and Ghaffarieh Dome. Also check out the Ilkhanid Museum of Maragha and town’s beautiful Sufi Chay River before you hit the road back to Tabriz.
