As I see there are two versions of Chehel Sotoun in Iran. Is there a relation or it’s just a normal nominal similarity?
Hi Ricky. It’s exactly true. At first, Chehel Sotoun of Qazvin was built by Safavid king Tahmasb. The Chehel Sotoun of Isfahan was built later, when they decided to move the capital to Isfahan. The new Chehel Sotun was built according to the previous version.
